Become an umpire for local baseball games!

Kingswood Cal Ripken Baseball (KCRBL) is holding an umpiring clinic at Kingswood Regional High School on Saturday, April 2 at 2:30 p.m.

Gary Noyes of the Granite State Umpire Association (GSUA) will be teaching the clinic to local high school ballplayers and anyone else (high school age or older) who are interested in umpiring local Cal Ripken baseball games this spring.

KCRBL and GSUA recognize a shortage in umpires in the area, particularly to umpire Minors level games (10u). Those who complete the clinic and then umpire games this spring will be eligible for compensation in the form of student community service credit hours and/or financial stipend.

Some baseball knowledge and/or experience is needed, but this clinic is meant to teach and for aspiring umpires to learn. No advance registration needed. Arrive at the KRHS baseball field on McManus Way by 2:30 p.m. for the clinic.
