Kingswood Babe Ruth / Cal Ripken League (KCRBL) needs coaches and volunteers for the 2023 season (and beyond). 

We need coaches for multiple levels of baseball and softball. Never coached before? No worries. We can provide guidance, practice plans, and support throughout the season. We also provide the equipment that you need. 

For 2023, we are also providing player registration reimbursement for coaches. Anyone who volunteers to be head coach of a team and does so for the duration of the season will get a check to reimburse 80% of the registration fee of one child in the coach’s family at the time equipment is returned after the season is over. 

In your account on our website, you can select “Head Coach,” “Assistant Coach,” “Team Parent,” or “Volunteer” during the registration process of your player. Someone from KCRBL will subsequently reach out to you to confirm your interest and begin the onboarding process. 

KCRBL is also seeking volunteers to be league officers: Treasurer, Secretary, Assistant VP of Softball, Sponsorship/Fundraising Coordinator, and Concessions Coordinator. Please select “Volunteer” in the registration and contact league president Bill Huffman so that we can begin your involvement as soon as possible.

All coaches/volunteers must submit to and be deemed eligible through a background check and complete abuse prevention training before participating in any team activities.
