The 2025 Spring season of Cal Ripken Baseball and Babe Ruth Softball is just around the corner. Registrations open on February 14, 2025, for this season.

Click on the Registration button in the menu bar of our website www.kcrbl.com to register your children for participation and/or yourselves for coaching/volunteering.

KCRBL has two registration windows now: Early and Late. Early Registration has the established fees everyone knows that have not changed in many years, and has essentially the same deadlines of past years. Late Registration has higher fees to incentivize registering within the Early window and to offset the extra effort and accounting required to accommodate players registering after the initial window.

Registration is open to all youth of the appropriate ages within our league boundary of Brookfield*, Effingham, New Durham*, Ossipee, Tuftonboro*, and Wolfeboro*.  *Towns included in our Softball program.

The Early Registration fees are as follows, which again are the same fees from the past many years.

All levels of softball (8u, 10u, 12u) are $75.
Baseball registration is $90 for Majors (ages 11-12) and Minors (ages 9-10), and $50 for Rookies (ages 7-8) and T-Ball (ages 4-6). Junior Babe Ruth (ages 13-16) is $150.
Ages are based on “league age.” “League age” is defined by Babe Ruth League Inc as the player’s age as of May 1, 2025, for baseball, and as of December 31, 2024, for softball.

Deadlines to register within the Early Registration window are: Majors/Minors/Rookie Baseball on Friday, March 14; Softball on Friday, March 14; T-Ball on Friday, March 28; and Junior Babe Ruth Baseball on Friday, April 18.

Late Registration fees and the registration window dates are as follows:

All levels of softball (8u, 10u, 12u) are $100 from Saturday, March 15 through Friday, March 28.
Baseball registration is $125 for Majors (ages 11-12) and Minors (ages 9-10), and $60 for Rookies (ages 7-8) and T-Ball (ages 4-6) from Saturday, March 15 through Friday, April 18. Junior Babe Ruth Baseball (ages 13-16) is $200 from Saturday, April 19 through Friday, May 1. No registrations will be accepted at any level after the Late Registration window.

Babe Ruth League Inc increased the age range to include age 16 at the Junior Babe Ruth level in 2024. Our Jr Babe Ruth league boundary includes Alton, Alton Bay, Brookfield, Effingham, Middleton, New Durham, Ossipee, Tuftonboro, and Wolfeboro. Our Junior Babe Ruth program has had great success the past few years, and we hope to continue and build upon that in 2025.

KCRBL accepts all major credit cards for payment through our online registration system. www.kcrbl.com

If money is an issue and is holding you back from signing your child up for KCRBL, we encourage you to apply for a sports scholarship and even equipment assistance through The Nick's Youth Assistance Scholarship Program or Ossipee Children's Fund.

The Nick, a long-time partner of KCRBL, is proud to be able to award upward of 50 scholarships annually and is committed to ensuring all children in our community have the opportunity to play organized sports. Scholarship applications and more details can be found at www.thnick.org/yap

The Ossipee Children's Fund provides tuition assistance for many programs, including  recreation, for eligible children living in the KCRBL towns of Effingham and Ossipee. The organization was established on the premise that children of working parents or parents seeking employment should be assured a secure environment in which to learn, socialize, and play. Scholarship applications and more details can be found at https://www.ocfnh.org/ .

When seeking financial assistance, you will not be able to complete the registration on kcrbl.com right away. Notify KCRBL that you’ve applied for scholarship, and then email us a copy of the YAP or OCF certificate upon receipt. At that time, KCRBL will issue a “scholarship code” to apply to your registration during checkout.
