The 2025 KCRBL Majors and Minors Evaluations will be held on Saturday, March 22 in the main and practice gyms at Kingswood Regional High School in Wolfeboro, NH.

The evaluations are for only players who are new to the Majors level or Minors level of KCRBL, which includes those moving up from Minors, up from Rookies, or who are new to KCRBL.

Reminder that Majors is ages 11-12 and Minors is ages 9-10. League age is the player’s age as of May 1, 2024. So, a player whose birthday is May 15, 2015, would be a league age of 8 years old for 2024. KCRBL does consider players "playing up" early (e.g., 10-year-old in Majors) on a case by case basis, taking into account player ability, safety issues, roster counts, and family issues.

Majors evaluations will begin at 11:30 a.m.
Minors evaluations will begin at 1:45 p.m.
Players should arrive 15 minutes before the evaluations to check in and warm up.

Players should be ready for athletic activity, wear sneakers, and bring their baseball mitt, bat, and helmet with them. Players should not bring any baseballs with them. We will be providing indoor-approved practice baseballs.

Evaluations are just that - an evaluation. This is not tryouts; no players will be cut or fail to be placed on a team. This is the coaches' opportunity to gauge skill levels entering the season and to aid the league in forming teams that are as fair and competitive as possible. These evaluations include baserunning, fielding groundballs, catching balls from various angles (popups, flies, soft line drives), throwing, and batting. For those Majors players interested, we will also evaluate pitching.
